Pump Technology to sponsor series of races across Newbury’s Flat season as Racecourse gears up for its biggest ever summer

Newbury Racecourse is pleased to announce Pump Technology Ltd. as an official sponsor. A UK leader in the specification and supply of waste water, sewage pumps and pumping systems, Pump Technology have been supporters of the Racecourse since 2022.

As part of the new partnership agreement, the local firm will sponsor nine races across the summer’s Flat season. Pump Technology Ltd. will have the naming rights to a variety of Handicap, Novice and Maiden Fillies’ Stakes races, all aired on Sky Sports Racing. The series of sponsored races will commence on Thursday, June 12 with the Pump Technology Ltd. Handicap Stakes, with the last of their nine scheduled races taking place on Saturday, September 20, as the Pump Technology Ltd. Handicap Stakes.

In addition to their sponsored races, Pump Technology Ltd. also have the naming rights to six of Newbury’s official racing after parties as part of a three-year agreement until 2027.

2025 is set to be Newbury’s biggest ever summer of music, with the Racecourse hosting four music racedays between July and September. Pop icons Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Ella Henderson will perform live after racing on Saturday 19th July (Weatherbys Super Sprint Day), before Bjorn Again visit on Friday 15th August and Clean Bandit take to the stage on Saturday 16th August (Visit Malta Hungerford Day). BRIT-award winner James Bay rounds off the huge summer of music, performing live after racing on Saturday 20th September (Dubai Duty Free International Weekend).
