It’s all for Charity

This post is a bit of a community round up of the events that we have been involved with over the last few weeks and the resulting monies that have been raised for charity by our fabulous staff.

Our Netball Team “The Pumpers” won another mixed tournament. Twenty teams got together to raise money for comic relief, and our team came away with the cup scoring 24 goals – nice one!

hospise thermometerWe sold tickets for the London Irish game v Leicester, and raised £680 on the day,

We donated £400 to the Alexander Devine Childrens Hospice Service Charity, and £80 to St Pauls children’s nursery in Tadley and lastly £200 to Tadley tigers RFC,  to sponsor their U13/14s ‘recruit a player scheme’

It was only going to run through the summer but it was such a success it keeps extending, more players kept turning up as the lads really got behind the scheme. The U14s recruited 10 new players that are still with the club and the U13s weren’t far behind for numbers. Both teams are now playing regular fixtures as Tadley Tigers.

Our contribution to date has paid for 30 training tops to reward players that joined and the people that brought them along.

…and finally from our Pump Partner Seminar we collected another £180 for Alexander Devines Childrens Hospice.

Every penny helps these organisations realise their ambitions, and we’re just delighted that we can give back to our local community once in a while
