Pump Technology Proudly Supports a Record-Breaking Inclusion Festival 2025
On Wednesday 3rd December 2025, the London Irish Foundation celebrated its biggest ever Annual Inclusion Festival, and Pump Technology Ltd was honoured to help make it happen.
Aligned with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPWD), this year’s festival welcomed over 270 young participants with a wide range of disabilities, representing 14 schools across Berkshire. Many children with complex needs were supported by 120+ carers and 45 volunteers, including Student Leaders from St Joseph’s School (Slough) and Bishop Wand School (Sunbury-on-Thames).
At its heart, the Inclusion Festival exists to create an environment where “sport really has no boundaries.”
This year’s turnout, and the energy in the room, proved exactly that.
Champions, Community & True Inclusion in Action
A line-up of inspiring VIP guests rolled up their sleeves to join the fun, including:
-
Benjamin Pritchard – European, Paralympic & World Champion Rower and Foundation Ambassador
-
Jeanette Chippington – Paralympian
-
Topsy Ojo – London Irish legend, TV presenter & Interim Chair of the Foundation
They were joined by long-standing supporters such as Patrick Lennon, Adrian Alli, and representatives from the Slough School Sport Network.
A special welcome also went to Jamie Balls MBE, Chairman of the London Irish Amateur Rugby Football Club, strengthening the vibrant rugby link that runs through every London Irish event.
Partnerships That Make the Magic Happen
An event of this scale is only possible thanks to collaborative partners who share the same belief in inclusive sport.
-
Leisure Focus once again provided the superb Braywick Leisure Centre as a safe, accessible venue. A huge thank you to CEO Mark Camp-Overy and Jatinder Singh Rakhra for accommodating the festival despite major upgrade works on site.
-
Maidenhead United Football Club, led by Helen Preedy, brought a fantastic team who delivered games and activities with enthusiasm and care.
-
Additional thanks go to colleagues from VINCI and Gallagher, whose support helped lift the event to new heights.
Proudly Funded by Pump Technology Ltd
Every year, Pump Technology Ltd provides the funding that enables this festival to thrive — and 2025 was no exception.
Our Directors Jeremy Brownlee and Jonathan Barker were recognised on the day by the Foundation and, most importantly, by 270 smiling children who enjoyed a day designed entirely for them.
“Supporting inclusive sport is a core part of our community commitment. We firmly believe that every child should experience joy, confidence and opportunity — and we are incredibly proud to help make that possible through our partnership with the London Irish Foundation.”
Looking Ahead to 2026
The 2025 festival showed what can be achieved when organisations come together with purpose and heart.
As always, “Teamwork Makes the Dream Work”, and we’re already looking forward to supporting an even bigger and better Inclusion Festival in 2026.
Bringing people together. Breaking down barriers. Creating lasting impact.
