Pump Technology Warriers raising money for charity

The Pump Tech Warriors came runners up in a charity netball tournament on Saturday 26th April, raising money for Berkshire Cancer Care.

There were 20 teams that entered into the tournament and although we played well to get through to the final stages we eventually lost in the final 11-7 – a close call!

The weather was kind for the day and was holding off until about 5 when the heavens opened and it was a horrific down pour for the duration of the semi finals and the finals, but we played through to get ourselves a nice bit of silverware, the first of this years.

The pic of us holding the runners up plate is a bit dire as we had just lost the final and all look like drown rats! – but a terrific day was had by all and more importantly we managed to raise funds for the Berkshire Cancer Care
