Yet Again, Tadley Tigers RFC retains “London Irish Club of the Year”

 for 2013 and celebrates by holding a special 3-day
Junior Summer Holiday Rugby Camp with London Irish.

OPEN TO ALL KEEN JUNIOR RUGBY PLAYERS and run by the coaching staff and players from London Irish, this Summer Holiday Rugby Camp will be held on the 12^th, 13^th and 14^th of August 2013 (9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.) at Tadley RFC’s ground in Red Lane, Aldermaston, RG7 4PA.

The club has won “London Irish Club of the Year” for the third successive year and would like to share this reward with all young players in the local area, so have decided to open this London Irish Camp to participants from 7 to 16 years old (as at 1/9/2012) on a first come first served basis. The price for this very special access to some of the top trainers and professional players in the UK is just £89 per attendee for all three days. All camp attendees receive a complimentary match ticket voucher and London Irish gift.

The programme for younger players will include rugby techniques such as core rugby skills, evasion skills, passing skills, an introduction to contact and much more. Older players will be taught advanced contact skills, contact management, conditioning and nutritional management and plenty more. Additionally, there will be a chance to meet new friends, develop teamwork skills and enjoy plenty of fun and games.

On the final afternoon of the camp, Wednesday, August 14^th, the London Irish first team squad will come to the club where they will demonstrate some of their special skills and run training sessions for the children attending this extra-ordinary rugby camp. There will be an open Question and Answer and autograph signing session as well as the opportunity to shake hands with Digger, London Irish’s huge wolfhound mascot. Parents and other non-training spectators are very welcome to attend.

This will be topped off by a BBQ and the bar will, of course, be open from 12.00 p.m. until 8 pm so everyone can socialise and enjoy the recent improvements to the clubhouse.
