Epsom Derby day

Most of you know that we are the yard sponsor for Jonathan Portman Racing, and we are always very enthusiastic about the horses that are trained at Whitcoombe House Stables.

So Epsom Derby day was a real triumph for Pasaka Boy in the 13:35 Investec Out Of The Ordinary Handicap. One of eleven horses running, ridden by Richard Kingscote who managed to stay with the leading pack for most of the race and then ridden to lead entering the final furlong. Really fantastic news for the breeders Jon Homan and Graham Wickens.

We were fairly elated too… well at a 25/1 starting price who wouldn’t be!
