Waste Water Pump Systems (Floor Mounted)
If you need to put a kitchen sink or even a complete kitchen in an area that was not originally meant for it, then we have a floor-mounted waste water pump range that allows you the flexibility to put the installation virtually anywhere. The same is true for a utility room or laundry facility.
Our systems are designed to deal with hot water from combination ovens and can be provided as a single or dual pump. These have been recently contracted by KFC, via their combination oven supplier, as they are able to cope with the quantity of very hot water that gets disposed.
We are the only supplier that specialise in dirty water pumps for the disposal of very hot dirty water that is common in commercial kitchens, laundries and especially coffee making areas.
Your requirements are going to be unique, but with our range, we are confident we will have a product to fit what you need. Please take a look at the boxes on the right to drill down into the product range.
Add on products for our wastewater pumps
As well as a pump you may well need additional items to prevent odour and to keep things ticking along nicely. All of our wastewater pump systems use charcoal filters for venting purposes, the Charco vent and micro vent. We have inline strainers (PTL 1LS) which are commonly used in hairdresser shops to prevent hair from getting into the pump systems(These are NOT designed to handle grease or food particles found in kitchen sinks), and a range of high-level alarms to be used with our floor-mounted systems which will sound should the pump not activate.
Happy Clients
The waste water pump systems are widely used by Sainsbury, Tesco, Aldi, Morrisons, Waitrose, Caffe Nero and Costa Coffee who have been using our water pump systems for over 15 years with great success.
We also have a domestic waste water pump, (the Drainmaster) which has been marketed and sold for the last 20 years which is a testament to its quality and durability.

Frequently asked questions
For domestic applications, you would normally select a single pump system. If the wastewater pump is for a commercial kitchen you would select a dual, duty standby configuration so service in the restaurant can continue whilst you are awaiting a maintenance engineer.
A high-level alarm can be specified as an extra. Alarms will have volt free contacts for a BMS and can be connected to solenoid valves to shut of incoming water feed to dish / washing machines for example.
Your standard submersible pump is designed to operate with fluid temperatures up to 40 deg c, for short periods only, up to 60 deg c. You need a dedicated hot wastewater pump if the temperatures are above this.
If the pump is fitted with a float arm this will automatically start / stop the pump. Dual pumps for duty standby will need an additional control panel.
You will need to know the following information about your application. Then call a dedicated pump expert to select the correct product for you. How far do you want to pump, height, electric supply- Single or Three phase, liquid nature- Temperature, solids, chemicals.
