Hot Wastewater Pumping Problem Solved!

One Creechurch Place, provides high quality office accommodation in the centre of London’s insurance and financial district.

This prestige building features state-of-the-art kitchens with ZIP taps to provide boiling water for hot drinks.

On many of the floors the optimum location for the kitchen means that gravity drainage is not possible so a wastewater pumping system is required.

Because very hot water may enter the wastewater system a Pump Technology Ltd, DrainMajor was installed.

This system is fitted with a robust Jung Pumpen 730HES pump, which has a cast iron pump volute and stainless-steel motor housing combined with a mechanical liquid facing seal and motor lip seal configuration. It can handle temperatures up to 90°C.

(Standard submersible pumps generally only operate up to 40°C.)

The new DrainMajor 730/1030 hot water pump features a polypropylene collection tank with an easy access lid to aid inspection and future maintenance.

Pump Technology Ltd. offer an extensive range of pumping solutions from stock and, as a main distributor, work directly with Jung Pumen GmbH to provide proven pumping solutions for wastewater and sewage applications.
